Divine Prospects is an organization dedicated to the safekeeping of World Line P-0, also known as the "Prime Line".

In its inception, it was merely a school founded by a woman of little renown: One Sophia Von-Lumina Auragale. Over time, as the threats to P-0 increased in scale, she could no longer protect matters alone. Thus was her school converted into an organization capable of keeping P-0's threats under wraps.

Divine Prospects has served to keep P-0 safe for over three years now, being formally established at Line Coordinates {P-0.05.11.2020.103}. Though it has gone through many changes in its three years of operation, the work done by its members have ensured the safekeeping of all beings within P-0 and its incalculable branching world lines.

After the events of the Kingsbane war, Prospects came to forge an alliance with Anthetica, a civilization that resides on the edge of time, and together, they would complete Project Absolution: A project of hither untold scale that was capable of rewriting the fabric of existence in order to undo a terrible tragedy that befell all of time and possibility.

Formerly, Anthetica's goal was the protection of the World Lines from a threat known as the Mattered Dark. Following Project Absolution, the Mattered Dark was contained to a region known as the World Roots. These roots serve as the mirrored variants of the World Lines, and thus, follow a completely new set of laws and rules.

Following the emergence of Rootwaves and the phenomenon known as Rootwave Sickness, Anthetica has shifted its priorities to the exploration and neutralization of the hypothetical "Root Core". Due to the difficulty of explorations down to these roots, supplies and constant vigilance work are required. To this end, we have two primary tasks for you.

These tasks have been relegated to P-0's Divine Prospects in the interest of expediting the Anthetican investigation and the search for the Core. For more information, please see the files below.

Exploratory Tasks are tasks given to those who do not seek direct neutralization of Rootwave-sickened individuals. These tasks involve either the Fabrication of or Procurement of various objects.

Exploratory Tasks provide a set 5,000 Gil per completed missive. Much like Principle Tasks, these can be repeated indefinitely for the month's duration, though no more than three times per task per opening.

Each time an exploratory task is completed, you will gain one Maker's token onto your record, as well as provide one point towards the Rootprobe Deployment(RPD) total. Once the RPD total reaches 50 points, a new probe will be launched into the World Roots, mapping out new areas and potential deployments for Root Delving Units(RDUs).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

> Exploratory Tasks will be posted on the Long Range Comms each month.

> Upon seeing a task you feel you are capable of, gather the requested items. Manufactured goods must contain your signature in order to be valid.

> Return to the front counter and provide the goods. You may claim a reward for each completed task three times per opening.

The faster we can deploy probes, the faster we can begin to isolate where the Root Core lingers. We are counting on you, Prospects.

All of existence as we know it is contained within a set of possibilities. For each flip of the coin, another World Line is born where the other outcome is true. Originally, all things were of the World Line. Following Absolution however, existence was severed into two equivalents: The World Lines, and the World Roots.

Our knowledge of the World Roots is presently very minimal. Additional probes and battle data garnered from Principle and Exploratory Tasks will assist in our collective knowledge greatly. New information will be logged here as we uncover it.

Firstly, we have learned that The World Roots seem to mirror our own. A hypothetical "Antiverse", as Masourox calls them. We know that the world is primarily made of Dark Matter as opposed to Luminescence, therefore, physics and concepts as we know them are simply impossible to decipher at this time. Through great effort, we're close to sending probes through what we call the Great Veil. This veil separates the Lines from the Roots, serving as a wall within the infinite halls of the World Tree.

Second, we know of Rootwaves, and Rootwave Sickness. Through the presence of some anomalous force pushing on the veil, frequencies have begun to radiate off of it, which in turn are affecting entities here within the Lines. These "Rootwave sickened entities" often twist and distort into unknowable beings, frequently morphing into exceptionally dangerous threats of various sizes. These sickened entities are considerably dangerous, and should not be engaged without a RPA(Rootwave Protective Amulet). These Silver Lotus Medallions have been created using Serum DX to protect their wearers against rootwaves. Without it, any injury sustained by a rootwave sickened entity would not heal. Even the smallest of papercuts would eventually bleed someone out, hence the incredible danger involved. Additionally, Rootwave sickened entities frequently return from death, to the point that they must be put down routinely in order to stay down. We do not know the reasoning or mechanisms behind this reanimation yet.

Third, we've come to understand the concept of an unknown group of entities known as "Zeroes". These entities appear to be self-keeping memetic beings: That is to say, if an entity beholds their true form with the naked eye for even a fraction of a moment, the entity will "Zero them out". Once an entity is Zeroed, its future in the world lines is erased in totality. The weight of such tremendous erasure is so significant, that without direct observation, one may not even realize they're missing. We believe the Zeroes may be linked to the World Roots. Research is ongoing.

Research is ongoing. You can assist with our work by completing Principle and Exploratory tasks.

Following the completion of the Concept Translation Disk, communication to and from the World Roots became possible. To this end, research between a mysterious "Achithetna" and Anthetica quickly collaborated, resulting in probes capable of breaching the veil and retrieving photographic material.

The following image was returned from a probe on 2/14, and is the only known visual of what lies beneath the veil at this time. Contact from "The Bureau" has been established by several entities. During the first root dive, a massive amount of information was transmitted and is still being decoded at this time. Included amongst design documents and historical archives was a list of personnel said to be manning the "Achithetnan Bureau". You will find them listed below.

> TSYLFIN - Lord of Dominance and current Director of the Bureau of Achithetna

> SOTZFIIA - Lord of the Unknown and Head of the Department of Unexplained Phenomena

To our present understanding, each Lord holds a "Right", named after their title. However, we are currently unsure what these Rights do, and thus, more research is required.

Principle tasks are tasks given to the combat-capable individuals within Divine Prospects. These tasks involve the neutralization of entities afflicted with Rootwave Sickness, an anomalous distortion of a creature that twists and bends it, causing it to grow dangerously unstable. Certain Principle Tasks involve the procurement of monster parts from Rootwave-afflicted entities. Due to research requirements, these may be requested in large quantity.

Principle Tasks provide a set 10,000 Gil per completed missive. Much like Exploratory Tasks, these can be repeated indefinitely for the month's duration, though no more than once per task per opening.

Each time a Principle Task is completed, you will obtain one Principle Token onto your record, as well as contribute one point towards the Root Exploration Total(RET). Once the RET reaches 50 points, new information about the World Roots can be extracted, so long as a new Rootprobe has been deployed. Information procured will be quantified and formatted into a Simulacwrite Archive.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

> Principle Tasks will be posted monthly upon the Long Range Comms.

> Prior to engagement, inform the front counter for permission to engage. You are encouraged to work alongside your fellow Prospects.

> Upon disrupting the entity's physical form, take a picture of the deceased entity and post it to the #adventuring-screenshots section of the Long Range Comms.

> Return to the front counter and inform the host. They will verify your kills, take any relevant items required, and give you your payment.

Rootwave-sickened entities have a horrible habit of returning following their disruption. Fortunately, after enough time passes, these entities cease to be. For the time being, our work requires disrupting their forms repeatedly in order to keep them subdued as much as possible. Anthetican Knights have been deployed to P-0 to assist with the suppression efforts alongside you. Please do your best as we continue to research this phenomenon and seek a method to permanently stop these distorted monsters.

In the interest of transparency with our P-0 allies, Anthetica has cleared a large section of Simulacwrites for viewing by Prospects Operatives. Simulacwrites are large archives containing a surplus of information, usually sectioned to specific topics.

Due to recent time constraints, the information within these archives may not be up to date. Indeed, much of the information contained is rather out of date. Information can be cleared up either by contacting the Host at the front counter, or penning a letter to the Anthetican Mailbox. However, should you seek a deeper look into the work done by this organization, our volumes of information are open and available to you.

These Simulacwrites are linked to each other. However, in the interest of information logging and future organization, we've separated them here for ease of access. These archives are ordered in chronological order of creation. We encourage you to avoid any potential cognitohazards that may or may not slip into the old data.
